Summary:

The District has used EideBailly as our Auditor for both the District Audit, and the General Obligation Bond Audit. The District was informed by EideBailly that they would not be able to complete the 2022-2023 Audit, and the District would need to procure another audit firm.
The Business Office sent out requests for qualifications to audit firms specializing in California Public School Audits. We have received two proposals, one from Nigro and Nigro, PC (Nigro) from Southern California, and one from Chavan & Associates, LLP (Chavan) located in Morgan Hill. The three-year bid from Chavan is $35,000 in each year for 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25. The three-year bid from Nigro is 2022-23 $37,900, 2023-24 $39,200, 2024-25 $40,500.
Based on the quotes received, Business Office staff recommends approval of Chavan & Associates, LLP for Audit Services for the 2022-23, 2023-24, and 2024-25 fiscal years based on their attached proposal.
