Summary: One of the roles of the Governing Board is to ensure District Board policies are reviewed, added, removed and kept up to date in order to keep the District legally compliant. Since May 2024, the District staff, the Board Policy Committee, and the California School Board Association have been working to update all Board Policies, Regulations, and Bylaws. The attached Administration - 2000 Series list contains new or amended policies and regulations. The current following policies and regulations will be obsolete once approved due to changes in the laws: Policies 2002, 2057, 2100, 2122; Policy & Regulation 2251, Policy 2260, Policy & Regulation 2270, and Policies 2350 and 2652.

Recommendation: Staff recommends that the Governing Board approve the new, amended, and removal of the obsolete Administration - 2000 Series policies and regulations.
