The Budget Advisory Committee was formed in October 2, 2024. The primary purpose of the Budget Advisory Committee is to identify and recommend strategies to reduce deficit spending by approximately $2 million for the 2025-26 school year. The committee explored cost-saving measures, and prioritized initiatives to maintain the quality of education while ensuring fiscal stability.
Chief Financial Officer, Dr. John Pappalardo, will present an overview of the committee and it work over the last two months to ensure the District remains fiscally solvent and protects high-quality classroom experiences for our students.
