Ed Code 37220 (e) allows the Governing Board to revise the date that schools close in observance of any holiday except Veteran's Day through the adoption of a resolution. Administration recommends revising the observance of Lincoln's birthday to be Friday, February 23, 2024, instead of the state accepted date of Monday, February 12, 2024.
