One of the roles of the Governing Board is to ensure District Board policies are reviewed, added, removed and kept up to date in order to keep the District legally compliant.
Since May 2024, the District staff, the Board Policy Committee, and the California School Board Association have been working to update all Board Policies, Regulations, and Bylaws. The attached Business and Noninstructional Operations - 3000 Series list contains new or amended policies and regulations.
The current following policies and regulations will be obsolete once approved due to changes in the laws: Policies 3226, 3251; Policies & Regulations 3302, 3310; Regulation 3350; Policy 3440; Regulation 3510; Policy & Regulation 3512.1; Policies 3513, 3515.1; Policy & Regulation 3516.4; Policies 3517, 3522, 3530.1; Policy & Regulation 3530.2; Regulation 3540; Policy 3540.1; Policy & Regulation 3544.2. |
